Furnished Stay Check-In and Check-Out Guide

A clear arrival, stay, and departure checklist for furnished accommodation guests.

A smooth furnished-stay check-in begins before arrival. Confirming access, contact details, property rules, and the condition of the home early helps prevent avoidable questions after a long journey. The same principle applies at departure: follow the agreed checklist and leave enough time to report any issue.

Before you travel

Recheck the property address, arrival window, access method, parking instructions, and the name of your local contact. If your arrival time changes, notify the host as soon as possible. Do not assume that every property has a staffed reception or that late arrival is automatically available.

At check-in

Follow the access instructions and make sure doors, keys, codes, heating, hot water, and essential appliances work as expected. Review the Wi-Fi information and emergency contacts. If you notice existing damage or a missing item, take a clear photo and report it promptly so there is a written record.

During the stay

Keep access details private and follow the occupancy, smoking, pet, parking, waste, and quiet-hour rules provided for the property. Contact the host early when maintenance is needed. A small issue is usually easier to resolve before it affects the rest of the stay.

Prepare for check-out

Review the departure time and property-specific instructions the day before leaving. Return furniture and supplied items to their expected places, dispose of waste as directed, check cupboards and charging points for personal belongings, and secure windows and doors.

Complete the handover

Return keys or access devices using the agreed method and confirm that departure is complete. Report accidental damage or an unresolved maintenance issue directly rather than leaving it undisclosed. Keep the final booking documents and payment records for your files.

These are general preparation steps; the written instructions for your booked property take priority. If you are staying with Quickstay and need help, use the contact details in your booking confirmation or send the team a message.
